Common questions

Getting started

Is Pulli free?

Yes. The free license covers the full download manager: resumable, parallel, browser-integrated fetches. Pro adds power-user features like more parallel downloads, proxy support, and logins. See the pricing page for the breakdown.

How do I get started?

Download Pulli, generate a key at /key, and install the browser extension. No account creation, no email required.

Browser integration

Which browsers work with Pulli?

Chrome, Arc, Brave, and Edge. Firefox and Safari aren't supported yet.

How does the browser extension work?

The extension catches download links from your browser and sends them to Pulli. Install it from the Chrome Web Store; it works with any Chromium browser.

Platform & compatibility

What macOS version do I need?

macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later.

Is there a Windows or Linux version?

Not yet. macOS only for now. Linux is likely before Windows.

Account & billing

How do I get a license key?

Visit /key and generate one. It's free. Your key looks like pulli-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and stays on your device.

What happens if I lose my key?

If you attached an email to your account, recover it at /key. Without an email on file, we can't recover a lost key.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Cancel from your Polar account or email support@pulli.app. Pro features continue until the end of your billing period, then lapse to Free. Your downloads and data stay intact.

How do I delete my account?

Go to /key and use the delete option, or email us. We cascade-delete your user, license, activations, and tracker rows. If you have Pro, we also cancel your Polar subscription.

Known limitations

A few things Pulli can't do yet:

  • Firefox and Safari aren't supported yet
  • macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later required
  • macOS only — no Windows or Linux yet
  • Some servers refuse to resume downloads — Pulli fetches from the start in those cases
  • Multi-source fetch (downloading from multiple mirrors) is a Pro feature
