Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
Pulli is a native macOS download manager made by Mehdi Benmebarek. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Pulli.
The software
Pulli is licensed, not sold. We offer two tiers:
- Free
- A complete download manager: resumable, parallel, browser-integrated downloads. No cost, no expiry. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use the software on your Mac.
- Pro
- Additional power-user features: more parallel downloads, more threads, proxy support, custom user agent, auto-rename, bash hooks, completion hooks, logins, and third-party integrations. See the pricing page for the full breakdown. Pro is a paid add-on on top of the free license.
For the full feature comparison, see our pricing page .
Your account key
Pulli doesn't use usernames or passwords. Your account is a random key like pulli-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. You generate it at /key and it stays on your device.
You are responsible for keeping your key safe. Anyone with your key can access your account and manage your license. If you lose it, you can recover it with an attached email at /key . Without an email on file, we cannot recover a lost key.
Subscriptions and billing
Pulli Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($2.50/month), a yearly subscription ($25/year), or a one-time lifetime purchase ($100). Prices are listed on the pricing page and may change; existing subscriptions keep their price until renewal.
Polar.sh is our merchant of record. Polar processes payments, stores card details, manages subscriptions, and handles refunds. We never see your payment information.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your Polar account or by emailing us. When you cancel, Pro features continue until the end of your current billing period, then lapse to Free. Your downloads and data stay intact.
Refund requests go through Polar. They evaluate refunds per their own policy. For help, email support@pulli.app.
Lifetime license
The lifetime license covers Pulli 1.x: every update and patch within this major version is yours. A future Pulli 2.0 would be a separate paid upgrade. Everything you bought in 1.x keeps working after 2.0 ships; you just don't get 2.0 features for free.
Acceptable use
A few ground rules:
- Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
- Don't redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software
- Don't attempt to bypass Pro feature restrictions without paying
- Don't abuse the API or automate requests in a way that degrades service for others
Intellectual property
Pulli and its source code are owned by Mehdi Benmebarek. The software is licensed to you under these terms, not sold. Open-source components bundled with Pulli retain their original licenses.
No warranty
Pulli is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will run without interruption or work on every macOS configuration. You use it at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Pulli is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you are a free user who never paid, the cap is $1.
Termination
You can stop using Pulli at any time. Delete your account and all associated data from /key , or email us. See our privacy policy for what erasure covers.
We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or abuse the service. We'll try to notify you first, but we won't always be able to.
Changes to these terms
We update this page when the terms change. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
